European & North American Music:
Jonah’s Opening Act
at Stratford’s 2019 Multicultural Festival

“New this year, Jonah Manley – a talented young pianist and a volunteer with the Multicultural Association who also happens to be blind…” So begins a Beacon Herald article about Stratford’s 2019 Multicultural Festival. On Saturday July 1st, Jonah Aaron Manley headed a day of world music with a 45-minutes piano recital (including a few vocal accompaniments). Representing those of European descent in the county, he played an assortment of classical, folk and pop pieces from Canada, Italy, Germany, Norway, Russia and the United States. His performance included music from The Beatles, Bach, The Crash Test Dummies, Secret Garden and many more.
